Having identified which loans or cards had PPI, we will then submit a claim for mis-selling on your behalf (if we believe this is justified).
We charge 20%+VAT of the total cash you receive from the lender. We never, EVER, charge a penny if we fail to get your money back.
Example 1 – Redress Paid In Cash
You receive a £2,000 redress cheque or bank transfer. Our fee is £400 plus VAT of £80, making our total fee £480.
Example 2 – Redress Used To Pay Off Arrears With Remainder Paid As Cash
You receive £2,000 redress. £1,000 is retained by your lender to pay off outstanding arrears (but NOT your outstanding balance – see Example 3) and you receive the rest as a cheque or transfer for £1,000. Our fee is £200 plus VAT of £40, making our total fee £240.
Example 3 – Redress Used To Settle Your Outstanding Balance With Remainder Paid As Cash
You receive £2,000 redress. £1,000 is used to pay some or all of your outstanding balance (but NOT arrears – see Example 2) and you receive the rest as a cheque or transfer for £1,000. Our fee is 20%+VAT of the £2000 – making our fee £400 plus VAT of £80, totaling £480. In this situation you will have opted to use your redress to reduce how much you owe your lender. In cases like this we treat the whole redress amount as though it were taken as cash.
